Founded in 2015 by Rahul Gochhwal, Vivek Lohcheb, and Narender Kumar, Trupay was a financial technology company based in Gurugram, India. It developed one of India's early bank-agnostic mobile payment applications built on the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) framework launched by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). The service allowed users to send and receive money directly from their bank accounts in real-time without the need to pre-load a digital wallet. In 2018, Trupay was acquired by The Mobile Wallet (TMW), a Mumbai-based payments company, and its services were subsequently integrated.
