Formed in 1980 by the counties of Del Norte, Lassen, and Trinity, the Trindel Insurance Fund is a public agency Joint Powers Authority (JPA). Its mission is to provide stable, cost-effective risk financing and high-quality risk management services to its member counties. The organization operates as a risk-sharing pool, offering liability, workers’ compensation, and property coverage programs to its twenty member counties across Northern California.
