TMW (The Mobile Wallet) was a Mumbai-based fintech company that operated as a prepaid payment instrument (PPI) issuer, licensed by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). It provided users with a digital wallet and a connected physical or virtual prepaid card, allowing for a wide range of online and offline transactions, including bill payments, recharges, and in-store purchases. The company aimed to bridge the gap between digital payments and physical card-based transactions. In 2021, TMW was acquired by Eroute Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and was subsequently rebranded into OmniCard, which now focuses on corporate expense management and payment solutions.
