Founded in 2016, Local Pensions Partnership (LPP) is one of the UK's eight Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) pools. It was established to deliver value for its pension fund clients and members by pooling assets to improve efficiency, scale, and investment returns. LPP operates through two main businesses: LPPI (Local Pensions Partnership Investments), which is an FCA-regulated investment manager that manages over £24 billion of assets, and LPP Administration, which provides end-to-end pension administration services for public sector schemes. The company is owned equally by the London Pensions Fund Authority (LPFA) and Lancashire County Council (LCC).
