Founded in 1992 and headquartered in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Ta Chong Bank was a commercial banking institution offering a wide range of financial products and services. Its offerings included consumer and corporate banking, deposits, loans, credit cards, foreign exchange, and wealth management. In 2016, Yuanta Financial Holding became the majority shareholder, leading to the eventual merger of Ta Chong Bank into its subsidiary, Yuanta Commercial Bank, which was officially completed on April 1, 2018. All of Ta Chong Bank's assets, liabilities, and operations were subsequently assumed by Yuanta Bank.
