Originally chartered in 1947 as the Edinburg Teachers Credit Union, Security First Credit Union has grown into a community-focused financial institution. As a not-for-profit cooperative, it is owned and operated by its members. Its mission is to provide the best possible financial services, including personal and business checking/savings accounts, auto loans, mortgages, credit cards, and investment services, to its membership base in Hidalgo and Cameron counties.
