The platform promised investors attractive returns on their capital by funding these loans. Launched during the peak of China's P2P lending boom, the company, like many of its peers, ceased operations around 2018-2019 following a massive industry-wide regulatory crackdown that led to the collapse and liquidation of thousands of P2P platforms across the country.
