Established in 1995 as the Doha Securities Market (DSM) and commencing operations in 1997, it was rebranded as the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) in 2009. The QSE's mission is to support Qatar's economy by providing a transparent, efficient, and fair trading platform. It serves as a primary venue for Qatari companies to raise capital and for local and international investors to trade a variety of securities, including equities, bonds, and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). The exchange operates under the supervision of the Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA).
