Pacific Coast Oil Trust
Information by Research Trustfinance
Pacific Coast Oil Trust was a statutory trust formed in 2012 by Pacific Coast Energy Company LP (PCEC). The Trust's purpose was to hold and distribute income from net profits and royalty interests in oil and gas properties located in California's Santa Maria and Los Angeles Basins. Units of the trust were publicly traded, allowing investors to receive distributions from the underlying energy assets. However, due to declining production and cash reserves, the trust announced its formal dissolution and liquidation, which became effective on December 29, 2023. All of its assets have been or are in the process of being sold, with final cash distributions made to unitholders.
