Established in June 2020 by Royal Decree 61/2020, the Oman Investment Authority (OIA) is the integrated sovereign wealth fund of the Sultanate of Oman. It was formed through the merger of the State General Reserve Fund (SGRF) and the Oman Investment Fund (OIF). OIA's mandate is to manage, grow, and invest the nation's funds and assets to generate wealth, support economic diversification in line with Oman Vision 2040, and secure a prosperous future for the country. The fund operates through two main portfolios: the National Development Portfolio, which focuses on Omani assets, and the Future Generations Fund, which targets a diversified range of international assets.
