Medimás EPS S.A.S. was an "Entidad Promotora de Salud" (Health Promoting Entity) in Colombia. It was established in 2017 after acquiring the user base of the liquidated Cafesalud EPS. Its mission was to guarantee the provision of health services to its affiliates through its network of healthcare providers. However, its operations were plagued by persistent user complaints, poor service quality, and severe financial instability from its inception. These issues led to intense scrutiny and multiple interventions by Colombian health authorities, culminating in its forced liquidation in 2022 to protect the health and rights of its members.
