Founded in 1999, Lemme Insurance Group established itself as a niche insurance provider focused on the unique needs of professionals, particularly certified public accountants (CPAs), law firms, and professional associations. The firm provided a range of products including professional liability, management liability, and cyber liability insurance. In September 2023, Lemme Insurance Group was acquired by Leavitt Group, one of the largest independent insurance brokers in the United States, to enhance and expand Leavitt Group's professional liability practice. The Lemme team and their operations have since been integrated into the Leavitt Group.
