L.A. Co-op Lab is a non-profit organization founded to build a strong and vibrant worker cooperative ecosystem throughout Los Angeles. Its mission is to create a new, more equitable economy rooted in democracy, justice, and collective liberation by supporting the creation and growth of worker-owned businesses. The organization provides a range of services including educational programs (Co-op Academy), incubation support for new co-ops, assistance for existing businesses looking to convert to a cooperative model, and helps connect cooperatives with necessary capital and funding sources.
