Kredito24 was a consumer-facing brand of the German fintech company Kreditech Holding SSL GmbH, founded in 2012. It specialized in providing fast, online microloans to individuals in various countries. The company's core innovation was its proprietary algorithm that used up to 20,000 data points from non-traditional sources to assess a borrower's creditworthiness in real-time, enabling instant loan decisions. In 2019, Kreditech began rebranding its lending services, including Kredito24, to "Monedo." However, the parent company, Kreditech, filed for insolvency in September 2020, leading to the cessation of new lending activities under its brands.
