The company's flagship product, WebInsure, was a comprehensive Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform designed to power public health insurance exchanges and private marketplaces for brokers and employers. hCentive played a significant role in creating health insurance marketplaces for several U.S. states following the Affordable Care Act (ACA). In 2016, the company was acquired by the French technology and services company Cegedim and has since been integrated into its Cegedim Insurance Solutions business unit.
