Global InterGold Brasil
Information by Research TrustFinance
Global InterGold was presented as an online shop for buying and selling small denomination 24-karat gold bars. Its business model was heavily reliant on a network marketing program called "GoldSet," which required participants to recruit new members to earn rewards and receive their gold purchases. Due to its structure, the company faced widespread accusations of being a pyramid or Ponzi scheme. The parent company has since rebranded to GIG-OS (Global Investment Gold Online System), continuing a similar business model. The Brazilian operations were specifically targeted and stopped by the local securities commission.
