Founded in 1937 by a group of Georgia farmers, the Georgia Farm Bureau Federation is the state's largest general farm organization, dedicated to promoting and protecting the interests of farmers and agricultural communities. In 1958, the organization established the Georgia Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company to provide reliable and affordable insurance coverage to its members. Today, the company offers a wide range of insurance products, including auto, home, life, and farm insurance, exclusively to its members across Georgia, operating with a local agent in every county.
