Genie is a digital payment service developed and owned by Dialog Axiata PLC, a major telecommunications provider in Sri Lanka. Launched as the country's first PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) certified payment app, Genie's mission is to drive the adoption of secure and convenient digital transactions. The platform allows users to link their credit/debit cards and bank accounts to a single application, enabling them to make a wide range of payments including QR code payments at merchant locations, online checkouts, and recurring bill payments for utilities and other services.
