Gapi - Sociedade de Investimentos, S.A. is a private, public-interest development finance institution (DFI) in Mozambique, established in 1990. Its mission is to foster sustainable and inclusive national economic development by providing a range of financial and technical support services to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). As one of the country's pioneering DFIs, Gapi focuses on financing viable business projects, promoting entrepreneurship, and contributing to job creation, particularly in rural areas, by bridging the gap between the formal banking sector and micro-enterprises.
