Finans Norge is the main industry and employer organization for the financial industry in Norway. It represents approximately 240 financial companies, including banks, insurance companies, pension funds, and asset managers, which collectively employ around 50,000 people. The organization's mission is to act as the industry's voice towards authorities, the public, and other industries, advocating for favorable framework conditions and a stable, competitive financial sector. It was established on January 1, 2010, through the merger of the Norwegian Financial Services Association (FNH) and the Norwegian Savings Banks Association.
