eGCA is a digital initiative by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Government of India. Launched as part of an e-governance project, its mission is to create a single-window, paperless, and transparent platform for all DGCA services. The portal automates processes and functions for issuing, amending, and renewing licenses, approvals, and certificates for pilots, aircraft maintenance engineers, air traffic controllers, and other aviation personnel and organizations, aiming to improve efficiency and ease of doing business in the Indian aviation sector.
