Družba za upravljanje terjatev bank, d.d. (DUTB), also known as the Bank Asset Management Company (BAMC), was a state-owned company founded by the Republic of Slovenia in 2013. Its primary mission was to facilitate the restructuring of the Slovenian banking system by taking over, managing, and liquidating non-performing loans and other distressed assets from banks. This allowed the banks to clean their balance sheets and restore stability. After fulfilling its mandate, DUTB was merged into its sole shareholder, the Slovenian Sovereign Holding (Slovenski državni holding, d. d. - SDH), with the process being legally finalized on June 30, 2023. Its former operations are now managed within the SDH framework.
