Founded in 1967 as a regional bank based in Daegu, South Korea, Daegu Bank has grown to become a key subsidiary of the DGB Financial Group. The bank has traditionally focused on serving the Daegu and Gyeongbuk province but has expanded its presence throughout the country. In June 2024, after receiving approval to convert into a nationwide commercial bank, it officially rebranded to "iM Bank" to reflect its new national scope. It offers a full suite of banking services, including deposits, loans, credit cards, foreign exchange, wealth management, and corporate financing.
