Founded in 2015, Crypto Facilities Ltd. was a pioneering digital asset trading platform offering regulated futures contracts on various cryptocurrencies. It was one of the first crypto-native firms to secure a Multilateral Trading Facility (MTF) license from the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). In February 2019, the company was acquired by the major cryptocurrency exchange Kraken for a reported nine-figure sum. Following the acquisition, the platform and its services were integrated into the Kraken ecosystem and rebranded as "Kraken Futures," where it continues to operate as Kraken's regulated derivatives marketplace.
