Information by Research TrustFinance
Coup Mobility GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH, was an e-scooter sharing service founded in 2016. The company provided on-demand, app-based rentals of electric scooters as a solution for urban mobility. Operating with a distinctive fleet of black and mint-green Gogoro scooters, Coup expanded from its initial launch in Berlin to other major European cities including Paris, Madrid, and Tübingen. The service was known for its all-inclusive pricing model. However, in late 2019, the company announced it would cease all operations, stating that continuing the service was not economically sustainable in the long-term due to high operational costs and a competitive market.
