Founded as Competence Call Center (CCC) in 1998 in Vienna, the company grew into a prominent European provider of BPO services across various industries, specializing in customer care, content moderation, and technical support. In early 2020, CCC was acquired by TELUS International for approximately €915 million to expand TELUS International's global footprint. Following the acquisition, the various CCC legal entities, including the Swiss-based CCCBusiness Service AG, were merged and rebranded under the TELUS International name.
