Originally chartered in 1951 as Salt River Project Employees Federal Credit Union, the institution changed its name to Canyon State Credit Union in 2002 to better reflect its expanded field of membership. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, its mission is to partner with its members to help them achieve their financial goals. It offers a comprehensive suite of financial products, including checking and savings accounts, loans (auto, home, personal), credit cards, and business services, reinvesting profits back to its members through better rates and lower fees.
