Founded in 2008, the Canadian Prepaid Providers Organization (CPPO) is a not-for-profit entity dedicated to representing and advocating for the open-loop prepaid payments industry in Canada. Its mission is to advance the growth and success of the prepaid sector through government advocacy, industry research, educational events, and networking opportunities. The CPPO works closely with regulators, government bodies, and its member companies—which include issuers, program managers, and processors—to foster a favorable and innovative environment for prepaid payment products and services across the country.
