The Boston Impact Initiative (BII) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit impact investing fund established in 2013. Its mission is to build a more just and sustainable economy by investing integrated capital—a mix of loans, equity, and grants—in enterprises owned by or serving communities of color in Eastern Massachusetts. BII focuses on creating systemic shifts towards shared prosperity and resilience, deploying capital to address the racial wealth divide and support local, regenerative businesses.
