Originally formed in 1953 to serve employees of Baptist Hospital, Baptist Credit Union (BCU) has since expanded to a community charter. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, its mission is to provide quality financial services, including checking, savings, loans, and credit cards, in a professional and friendly manner while maintaining a sound financial position for its members. Profits are returned to members in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and fewer fees.
