Originally established in 1999 as a Private Financial Fund (FFP), Banco Ecofuturo S.A. has evolved into a key player in the Bolivian financial system. In 2014, it obtained a license to operate as a SME Bank (Banco Pyme) and later, in 2021, transitioned to a Multiple Bank (Banco Múltiple). The bank's mission is to promote economic and social development by providing accessible and inclusive financial products and services, such as credit, savings accounts, and payment services, primarily targeting micro, small, and medium-sized entrepreneurs throughout Bolivia.
