Founded in 2008, Babyloan is a pioneer in solidarity-based microcredit in Europe. The platform enables individuals to directly lend money (starting from €10) to micro-entrepreneurs in developing countries and France who lack access to traditional financial services. Lenders do not receive interest; their reward is the social impact of their loan. Since 2017, Babyloan has been a program of the French NGO "Entrepreneurs du Monde," which works to combat poverty by promoting social and economic integration for vulnerable people in 12 countries.
