The company also operated Aquesta Insurance Services, Inc., offering various insurance products. With a mission focused on relationship-based banking, Aquesta grew to serve the Charlotte, Lake Norman, and Wilmington areas of North Carolina, as well as the Charleston and Greenville regions of South Carolina. In October 2021, Aquesta was officially acquired by and merged into United Community Bank.
