Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Cornelius, North Carolina, Aquesta Financial Holdings, Inc., and its subsidiary, Aquesta Bank, operated as a full-service community bank. It provided a wide range of personal and business banking services, including loans, deposits, and wealth management. The company also operated Aquesta Insurance Services, Inc., offering various insurance products. With a mission focused on relationship-based banking, Aquesta grew to serve the Charlotte, Lake Norman, and Wilmington areas of North Carolina, as well as the Charleston and Greenville regions of South Carolina. In October 2021, Aquesta was officially acquired by and merged into United Community Bank.
