Founded in 1976 by Louis and Siri Caracciolo, Amalthea Cellars is one of the pioneering wineries in New Jersey. Located in the Outer Coastal Plain AVA, the winery was established with the mission to produce high-quality, European-style wines by cultivating vinifera grapes, a novel approach in the region at the time.
