Originally chartered in 1934 to serve employees of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agriculture Federal Credit Union (AgFed) has since grown into a full-service financial institution. As a not-for-profit cooperative, its profits are returned to members through lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and fewer fees. AgFed's mission is to be the premier financial partner for the agricultural community, providing a range of services including savings and checking accounts, consumer loans, mortgages, and investment services.
