The Africa Sustainable Finance Intensive (ASFI) is a capacity-building initiative aimed at empowering finance professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into their work. Launched as a partnership between FSD Africa, the South African National Treasury, and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), the programme provides in-depth training on sustainable finance principles, practices, and products. Its mission is to accelerate the transition to a sustainable financial system in Africa by equipping the current and next generation of finance leaders to champion and implement sustainable investment strategies.
