Afore XXI Banorte is one of Mexico's largest retirement fund administrators (known as "Afore"). It was created in 2012 from the merger of Afore Bancomer and Afore XXI. As a joint venture between Grupo Financiero Banorte and the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), its core mission is to manage and invest the mandatory retirement savings of Mexican workers to secure and maximize their pensions. The company administers individual accounts, provides voluntary savings options, and offers advisory services related to retirement planning under the regulation of Mexico's National Commission for the Retirement Savings System (CONSAR).
