Founded in 2013, 1Pay Vietnam, operated by M-Pay Joint Stock Company, established itself as a leading Payment Service Provider (PSP) in Vietnam. The company's primary mission was to simplify online and mobile transactions for businesses by offering a unified gateway to accept various payment methods, including mobile scratch cards, SMS payments, and bank transfers. In 2017, 1Pay was acquired by Ascend Money, a joint venture between Thailand's Charoen Pokphand Group and Ant Financial. Following the acquisition, 1Pay's operations and technology were integrated and rebranded into Truemoney Vietnam, which now offers a broader range of financial services, including an e-wallet and payment solutions.
