Receivables Management Association International (RMAI) is a nonprofit trade association that represents over 550 companies involved in the purchase, sale, and collection of performing and nonperforming receivables in the secondary market. Founded in 1997, its mission is to set the global standard for the receivables management industry through its rigorous certification programs, professional development, and advocacy efforts. RMAI provides its members—which include debt buyers, collection agencies, law firms, and industry service providers—with educational resources and networking opportunities to promote ethical practices and compliance with laws and regulations.
