The Maldives Stock Exchange (MSE) is the sole securities exchange in the Republic of Maldives. Established initially in 2002 as the Securities Trading Floor (STF) and later privatized in 2008, MSE operates as a licensed private exchange under the supervision of the Capital Market Development Authority (CMDA) of the Maldives. Its mission is to facilitate a fair, transparent, and efficient marketplace for raising capital and investing in securities, thereby contributing to the economic development of the Maldives. The exchange provides a comprehensive suite of services including listing, trading, clearing, settlement, and depository functions for equities and debt instruments.
