The Joint Impact Model (JIM) Foundation is a non-profit organization established to maintain and develop the JIM, a publicly available, web-based tool. Its mission is to promote transparency and establish a market standard for impact measurement, specifically focusing on estimating the indirect jobs supported by investments across 177 countries and 56 sectors. The foundation was initiated by Dutch development bank FMO and pension investor PGGM to create a common, harmonized approach to measuring job effects in the impact investing industry.
