Information by Jacob
Zelle is a digital payments network in the United States operated by Early Warning Services, LLC, a private fintech company owned by seven of the largest U.S. banks: Bank of America, Truist, Capital One, JPMorgan Chase, PNC Bank, U.S. Bank, and Wells Fargo. Launched in June 2017, Zelle's mission is to provide a fast, safe, and easy way for consumers and businesses to send and receive money. The service is integrated directly into the mobile banking applications of thousands of participating financial institutions, allowing users to transfer funds using only a recipient's email address or U.S. mobile phone number, with funds typically available within minutes.
