Chartered on March 14, 1935, Utica Gas & Electric Employees Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned and operated by its members. Its original mission was to serve employees of the local utility company, and it has since expanded its field of membership to include employees and retirees of National Grid and numerous other partner companies. The credit union provides a range of personal financial services including savings and checking accounts, consumer loans, mortgages, and online banking.
