Originally chartered in 1935 as Carnegie-Illinois Steel Employees Western PA Federal Credit Union, the institution has grown to become USX Federal Credit Union. It is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative dedicated to serving the employees, retirees, and contractors of U.S. Steel Corporation and over 400 other Select Employee Groups, as well as their families. The credit union's mission is to provide quality financial products and services, including savings and checking accounts, loans, mortgages, and investment services, while maintaining financial stability and member trust.
