Founded in 2017, the UNSW Forex Society is a student-led organization at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney, Australia. Its primary mission is to bridge the gap between academic theory and the practical application of trading and investing in financial markets. The society provides educational resources, workshops, seminars with industry professionals, and trading competitions to its members. It aims to foster a community of financially literate students and provide them with networking opportunities within the finance industry, focusing on but not limited to the foreign exchange market.
