United Africa Federal Credit Union (UAFCU) is the first federally chartered credit union primarily serving the Pan-African community in the United States. Its mission is to promote financial inclusion and economic empowerment for the African diaspora by providing accessible and affordable financial services, including savings accounts, checking accounts, and loans. The charter for UAFCU was approved by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) Board in December 2022, and the credit union officially opened for business in March 2024, marking a significant milestone in providing tailored financial solutions to its member community.
