Turkasset is the official platform representing Turkey's Asset Management Companies (Varlık Yönetim Şirketleri - VYŞ). It operates under the umbrella of the Financial Institutions Union of Turkey (Finansal Kurumlar Birliği). The platform's mission is to serve as an informational and representative hub for the sector, which specializes in purchasing non-performing loan (NPL) portfolios from banks and other financial institutions. Its member companies work to restructure this debt and reintroduce it to the economy, thereby contributing to the stability of the financial system.
