Thrivent Student Resources was a service line of Thrivent, a holistic financial services organization that helps people achieve financial clarity and live lives of meaning and gratitude. As a fraternal benefit society, Thrivent offers a broad range of products and services, including life insurance, annuities, and investment options. The "Thrivent Student Resources" division specifically focused on providing private student loans to help students and families finance higher education. In late 2020, Thrivent sold its student loan portfolio to, and formed a new partnership with, Sallie Mae. As a result, Thrivent no longer originates new student loans, and existing loans are serviced by Sallie Mae.
