Originally founded in 1940 as Delco-Remy Federal Credit Union to serve factory workers, the institution rebranded to Thrive Credit Union in 2004. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, it is owned and operated by its members. Thrive's stated mission is "building lifelong relationships with our members and our communities." It offers comprehensive personal and business banking services, including savings and checking accounts, various types of loans (mortgage, auto, personal), credit cards, and investment services, all while focusing on the financial well-being of its members rather than maximizing profits.
